Job Description
Ocean Samurai – Christiansburg, VA is looking for a reliable Part-Time Busser to join our front-of-house team.
This position is mainly responsible for keeping the dining area clean and helping tables turn over quickly during busy weekend shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Clear dirty dishes, cups, and trash from tables
- Wipe and clean tables after guests leave
- Reset tables with plates, silverware, napkins, and other tableware
- Bring dirty dishes to the dishwashing area
- Keep the dining room and service areas clean and organized
- Refill table supplies when needed
- Assist Servers and Hosts during busy periods
- Help with other basic front-of-house cleaning tasks as needed
Schedule:
- Friday afternoon/evening
- Saturday afternoon/evening
- Sunday afternoon/evening
- Approximately 2–3 shifts per week
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to carry dishes and restaurant supplies
- Works well with a team
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required
Job Type: Part-time
We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and willing to help the team during our busiest weekend hours.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
