Al Forno Pizza needs to add a pizza maker to our Team. The candidate we are looking for knows how to hand toss pizza, manage an oven, and has experience in high volume pizza enviornments. Al Forno Pizza is very team-oriented - intense is ok, not friendly is not tolerated. We sling more pizza than anyone in Jupiter and are excited to meet you. We pay $18-$22/Hrs and have flexablilty on Full time vs. Part-time. Friday night and Saturday night are required.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and cutting tools, with care and precision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new pizza offerings or specials.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Proficient in using knives and other kitchen tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in catering or working within a dietary department is a plus but not required.
- A passion for creating high-quality dishes and providing excellent customer service is essential for success in this role.
