Pressure Washer Operator Assistant

The pressure wash assistant helps experienced technicians clean various surfaces like driveways, buildings, and decks by preparing the site, handling equipment, applying cleaning solutions, and responding to assigned work orders.

This role also involves learning from the lead technician to gain the skills necessary to perform all related tasks independently. The Pressure Wash Assistant must provide excellent customer service to tenants and ensure that all work is completed safely, responsibly, and professionally.

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist lead technicians with pressure washing and surface cleaning tasks.

· Prepare work areas by setting up cones, hoses, and safety signage as needed.

· Handle and maintain pressure washing equipment and accessories.

· Mix and apply cleaning solutions under supervision, following safety guidelines.

· Respond to assigned work orders and complete tasks in a timely manner.

· Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies.

· Provide excellent customer service to tenants and other clients.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle.

· Learn and develop skills necessary to independently perform lead-level duties.

· Submit timely daily report(s) by property using the Yardi App

· Submit vehicle inspection check list

· Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead technician.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Must have a clean driving record, subject to a CA DMV check.

· 2 years of previous experience in maintenance, cleaning, or a related field is a plus.

· English proficiency required

· Bi-lingual Spanish Required

· Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical physical

· Able to operate a cell phone, cell phone applications, text and email required.

· Ability to operate or learn to operate pressure washing equipment safely.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

· Good communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

· Comfortable working outdoors and around cleaning chemicals.

· Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Compensation $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
