Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Miami, FL. The Salesperson will work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions from Ocean Port Global's portfolio of premium seafood products. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, meeting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additional tasks include preparing sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and client relationship management
- Negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets
- Understanding of the seafood or food service industry, including knowledge of sustainable sourcing and product quality standards is preferred
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic office software
- Positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and a client-focused approach
- Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in sales within the seafood, hospitality, or food distribution industry is an advantage
