Asian City, the wholesale division of Ocean Mart (Utah’s premier ethnic supermarket), is expanding our logistics team! We are looking for a dependable Delivery Driver to transport wholesale goods to our local restaurant and retail partners across the valley.
If you like being out on the road, staying active, and working independently, this is the perfect role for you.
What you will be doing:
- Local Deliveries: Safely operate our company box trucks to deliver wholesale grocery products to local businesses.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading the truck at our warehouse and hand-unloading products at customer locations using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Order Accuracy: Review delivery invoices with customers to ensure all items are accounted for and in great condition.
- Vehicle Upkeep: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the cab clean and organized.
What we are looking for:
- Truck Experience: No CDL required! However, previous experience driving 20-foot (or smaller) box trucks or delivery vans is highly preferred.
- Clean Record: Must have a valid standard Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirement: This is an active, physical job. You must be able to repeatedly lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and operate standard warehouse equipment.
- Reliability: Our wholesale clients depend on us to get their ingredients on time. Punctuality and good time management are essential.
