Duties

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Manage inventory levels accurately using inventory control systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring stock availability and timely order fulfillment
• Process sales transactions efficiently through POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with professionalism and accuracy
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order parts, track shipments, and maintain optimal stock levels for dealership or retail operations
• Support automotive diagnostics by understanding vehicle repair procedures and communicating technical information clearly to customers or technicians
• Maintain a clean, organized parts department, stocking shelves properly and conducting regular inventory audits to prevent discrepancies
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating effective communication skills and product knowledge

Experience

• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance techniques
• Proven ability in negotiation, sales management, and marketing strategies within retail or automotive settings
• Familiarity with inventory management software such as CMMS or similar platforms; proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a plus
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and order fulfillment processes
• Demonstrated communication skills with phone etiquette expertise to handle customer interactions professionally
