Position Summary
The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in supporting both customers and service teams by providing knowledgeable assistance with automotive parts and accessories. This position handles customer inquiries in person and by phone, locates parts in inventory or through other sources, and facilitates delivery and installation. The role also includes receiving and stocking incoming parts and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stock incoming automotive parts and accessories accurately.
- Locate requested parts and arrange for their timely installation.
- Manage parts inventory and monitor stock levels.
- Maintain current knowledge of vehicle models, accessories, and promotional offers.
- Keep accurate sales and inventory documentation.
- Prepare timely and precise reports as required.
- Ensure safe delivery of parts to the dealership while following company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts warehouse.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Previous experience with automotive parts preferred.
- Dealership experience is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Friendly and helpful attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable and highly professional in all duties.
- Proficient with computers and internet applications.
- Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software is a plus.
