Hotel Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, craft high-quality beverages, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, POS systems, and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure an outstanding guest experience in both bar and lounge settings. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments is preferred to deliver tailored service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with hotel standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Engage with guests to provide personalized service, answer questions, and promote specials or menu items
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including proper food handling and responsible serving practices
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for seamless service during events such as banquets or catering functions
• Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the hotel’s hospitality standards

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while maintaining a safe environment for guests
• Experience in food handling, catering, or food industry roles is advantageous
• Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly personality to enhance guest interactions
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus
