Estamos buscando un(a) Auxiliar de Limpieza (Housekeeping Attendant) dedicado(a), responsable y con buena actitud para unirse a nuestro equipo. En este puesto, serás responsable de mantener la limpieza, higiene y el buen estado de las habitaciones y áreas comunes del motel, contribuyendo a brindar una experiencia cómoda, agradable y acogedora a nuestros huéspedes. Responsabilidades

• Realizar la limpieza completa de habitaciones, baños y áreas comunes siguiendo los estándares de calidad establecidos.
• Tender camas, cambiar sábanas y toallas, y reabastecer los artículos de cortesía para los huéspedes.
• Barrer, trapear, aspirar, quitar el polvo y desinfectar todas las superficies.
• Aplicar correctamente los procedimientos de limpieza y desinfección para garantizar un ambiente seguro e higiénico.
• Utilizar de manera segura y eficiente el equipo de limpieza, como aspiradoras y otras herramientas.
• Lavar, secar, doblar y organizar ropa de cama, toallas y otros artículos de lavandería cuando sea necesario.
• Mover muebles o suministros siguiendo las prácticas adecuadas de seguridad al levantar objetos pesados.
• Utilizar correctamente productos químicos y detergentes de limpieza, respetando todas las normas de seguridad.
• Reportar cualquier daño, desperfecto o necesidad de mantenimiento a la administración.
• Atender las solicitudes de los huéspedes de manera amable y profesional para garantizar su satisfacción.

Requisitos

• Se prefiere experiencia previa en limpieza residencial, comercial, hoteles, moteles o servicios de housekeeping, aunque no es indispensable.
• Conocimiento de técnicas de limpieza, desinfección, cuidado de pisos, alfombras y diferentes superficies.
• Experiencia en el manejo seguro de equipos de limpieza y productos químicos.
• Capacidad para organizar el tiempo y completar las tareas asignadas de manera eficiente.
• Buena condición física para permanecer de pie durante largos períodos, agacharse, caminar, levantar peso y realizar tareas repetitivas.
• Actitud positiva, responsabilidad y capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y en equipo.
• Excelente atención al cliente y habilidades de comunicación.
• Conocimientos básicos sobre normas de higiene, limpieza y seguridad en el lugar de trabajo.

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to uphold hygiene standards.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across all areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractors safely and efficiently.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for residents or clients.
• Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely when moving furniture, appliances, or large supplies.
• Maintain proper use of cleaning detergents and chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and the safe handling of cleaning detergents and chemicals.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, manual handling, heavy lifting, and outdoor work when necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members.
• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles is advantageous; outdoor work experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of health and safety standards related to cleanliness and sanitation practices.
