Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Night Manager to oversee our property operations during overnight hours year-round.
Position Summary:
The Night Manager is responsible for managing all resort operations during the night shift, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests. This role involves addressing guest concerns, handling emergencies, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the resort during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
· Oversee the front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes and resolving any guest inquiries or issues promptly.
· Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
· Handle guest complaints and provide solutions in a professional and timely manner.
· Oversee night staff, including front desk agents, security personnel, housekeeping, and maintenance staff.
· Ensure staff adhere to resort policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
· Monitor and ensure the security of the resort premises, including regular checks of all areas.
· Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security breaches, and coordinate with appropriate authorities.
· Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed by both staff and guests.
· Prepare and manage the nightly audit, including financial transactions and reporting.
· Review and complete all necessary paperwork, logs, and reports before the end of the shift.
· Ensure that any maintenance issues are documented and communicated to the relevant departments for resolution.
· Oversee the cleanliness and readiness of public areas, ensuring they meet the resort’s standards.
· Coordinate with housekeeping to manage late check-outs, early check-ins, and special requests.
· Ensure all guest amenities, such as room service and wake-up calls, are delivered as requested.
· Act as the main point of contact for all night operations and liaise with day staff to ensure seamless transition and communication.
· Provide detailed handovers to the incoming shift, outlining any issues or special requirements.
Skills, qualifications and Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort.
· Experience in night shift operations is highly preferred
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
· Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and MS Office Suite.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· First aid certification and knowledge of emergency procedures are a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
