Registered Nursing Position – Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery

Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery, Dermatology & MedSpa is growing and is is looking to add a new member to our Plastic Surgery team. Our thirty five member staff is seeking a qualified candidate for a registered nursing position. We are a comprehensive, service-driven Plastic Surgery and Wellness practice located in Indian River Shores. We are looking for a RN to assist in our surgical center regarding postoperative care and support.

Our practice boasts an on-site, aesthetic only, state certified operating room with a full time surgical staff. The primary role of this position will be primarily interacting with both Cosmetic and Wellness patients. This position will also be charged with maintaining and supporting all clinical workflow within the clinic, wellness, OR and recovery suites as needed. Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Collecting Medical Data, including basic vital signs for specific patients
• Certified Phlebotomist preferred, but not required
• Maintenance of Medical Record,
• Entering clinical data into EMR
• Assist the surgeons, nursing, and all other clinical staff in performance of any/all procedures and examinations
• Recovering patients following elective surgery
• Prepping patients for elective aesthetic surgery
• Assist with surgical procedures, setting up and maintaining sterile fields
• Escort patient to check out counter
• Have a working, functional knowledge of all procedures provided at Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery.
• Reasonably engage in spa and promotional events as they arise.
• Obtain patient photographs in our on-site photography studio
• Preoperative evaluation and postoperative recovery of cosmetic surgery patients
• Directly liaison with Dr. Durkin

General hours required in this position are 0730am to 6pm, but are flexible with notice. This position will be cross-trained regarding our spa services as well. Customer service of the finest quality is the only acceptable standard.

Qualifications and Skills

Active Nursing License - Florida

Registered Nurses Only

Phlebotomy Experience Strongly Preferred, but not mandatory

Experience in Wellness or Plastic Surgery Preferred, but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
