Vintage Havana is one of the fastest-growing names in junior apparel—sold in top retailers and boutiques nationwide. Known for our trend-driven collections and creative energy, we are expanding rapidly and looking for a hands-on financial leader to join our executive team.
The Opportunity:
This is not a back-office role. We’re looking for a CFO/Controller who can be both strategic and in the trenches—overseeing all financial operations while driving the systems, processes, and insights that keep us ahead of the curve. You’ll work side-by-side with ownership and department heads, influencing decisions that shape our growth trajectory.
What You’ll Do:
• Own the numbers – oversee all accounting, finance, and cash flow functions
• Manage factor relationships – ensure timely receivables collection and issue resolution
• Lead accounts receivable and accounts payable operations with speed and accuracy
• Oversee software integration and upgrades to streamline reporting and data flow
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and inventory projections to support sales growth
• Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to leadership
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards
• Mentor and lead a small accounting team, fostering accountability and collaboration
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA a plus)
• 7 years of progressive finance/accounting leadership, ideally in apparel or wholesale
• Proven experience working with factors and managing receivables financing
• Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and integrations
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management
• Excellent people skills – able to collaborate, influence, and lead across teams
• Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
