Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
- Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.
- Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.
- Conducts interviews with employee candidates.
- Recommends, documents, and issues discipline.
- Responsible for supervision, evaluation and training of staff.
- Ensures compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and company Policies and Procedures.
- Supervises staff and slot areas; re-assigns shift work schedules and Slot Attendants when necessary.
- Responsible for understanding all available slot floor system reports, game information and knowledge of the player tracking system to investigate and resolve guest complaints.
- Knowledgeable and actively promotes Marketing events by communicating necessary information to floor personnel; available to assist marketing personnel when necessary.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- One (1) to Three (3) years experience in gaming operations
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS And WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to (50) lbs in weight without difficulty, repeatedly.
- Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
