This is a seasonal part-time role at our racetrack! If you possess the desire to work for a great company, then we would love to have you!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
- Will work in conjunction with and under the direction of the Paddock Judge and Presiding Judge
- Will verify identification of all horses coming into the paddock area.
- Will immediately report any discrepancies in tattoos, color or markings of the horses to the Paddock Judge and Presiding Judge.
- Complies with Maryland Racing Commission Regulations.
- Promotes outstanding public relations with the horsemen.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work with horses, including the ability to read and record tattoo identification from the horses’ mouths or mane areas.
- Must be in good standing with the United States Trotting Association.
- Must have knowledge of all the rules and regulations set forth by the United States Trotting Association.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal skills.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
- Must be able to stand / walk and/or sit for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland Racing Commission required of all Racing Services employees.
