Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
- Greets and serves guest in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Operates P.O.S. System and makes accurate cash and financial transactions.
- Accurately records all Food & Beverage and Racetrack revenues and corresponding receipt of money, credit cards, complimentaries and coupon settlements.
- Prepares all settlement paperwork in a consistent and organized manner.
- Monitors alcohol consumption by guest, adhering strictly to Company Policy & Maryland Law.
- Maintains inventory and restocks all items and products in area as needed.
- Ensures that work area is clean and sanitary.
- Relays all guest compliments and complaints to Food & Beverage Management.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Two (2) years previous bartending experience.
- Restaurant and/ or fast food cashier experience preferred.
- Must complete TiPS Certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
