Are you passionate about water safety and love working with children and families? Join the Ocean Community YMCA as a Swim Instructor and help build confidence and lifesaving skills in our community! Openings now available for Fall and Winter 2026 at the Westerly-Pawcatuck Branch located in Westerly, RI.

What You’ll Do

• Teach swim lessons to children and adults of all skill levels
• Promote water safety and YMCA core values
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Strong swimming skills and a desire to teach
• Prior instruction or lifeguarding experience preferred
• YMCA Swim Instructor, Red Cross WSI, or equivalent certifications a plus (training available)
