About the Role
Ocean Cleaners is looking for an experienced dry cleaning professional to lead operations at our Bowie, MD plant. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work and knows the craft inside and out — from stain identification to machine upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dry cleaning equipment to manufacturer and safety standards
- Identify and treat stains using appropriate spotting techniques and chemical agents
- Perform routine and preventive machine maintenance; coordinate repairs when needed
- Process garments to ensure consistent quality and turnaround
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe plant environment
- Follow all OSHA and chemical handling regulations
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on dry cleaning experience
- Proven expertise in garment spotting and chemical treatment
- Experience with dry cleaning machine operation and basic maintenance
- Knowledge of fabric types and appropriate handling procedures
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Compensation
- $23.00/hour
- Quarterly performance bonus
