Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm, welcoming manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining area, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays — especially during peak summer season
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and carry trays
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality
- Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol where applicable
