What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fast Food Cashier - Food Truck - Seasonal position at Ocean Casino Resort?
The Fast Food Cashier is responsible for processing guest orders, handling cash and bagging orders in an accurate and efficient manner.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for register bank and all money, charges and comps collected during your shift
- Takes customer order, enters orders, collects and records payments
- Maintains cleanliness of counter and food service area at all times
- Makes accurate change to customers for payments
- Fills beverage orders and prepares food trays. Also includes cold sandwich preparation, salad preparation and the plating of premade hot items including soups.
- May, on occasion, deliver food items to tables if needed.
Essential Functions
• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
• Must be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
• Minimum one (1) or more years guest service and cash handling experience is required.
• Must be able to bend, lift/push/pull up to 25lbs and stand throughout scheduled shift
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
