QA Test Automation Lead

Data Warehouse QA LeadLocation: Columbus, OH (4 days onsite)Contract: Long-term (6–12 months)We’re seeking a QA Test Automation Lead to join a dynamic Data Lake and Data Warehouse team. In this role, you’ll design and implement automation strategies that ensure data quality and integrity across enterprise-scale solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable the business to leverage data as a strategic asset.If you’re passionate about data, continuous improvement, and building robust testing frameworks, this opportunity is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead QA efforts for multiple projects focused on data ingestion and integration.Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.Develop and execute test strategies for System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Collaborate with engineers, developers, and compliance teams to ensure data quality and traceability.Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and automation.Create and report on test execution metrics.Participate in requirement reviews, data mapping, and technical design inspections.Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for data quality.Support production implementation verification and validate system quality.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree.5 years of ETL testing experience in a data warehouse environment.3 years of test automation experience.2 years with Snowflake and AWS.Experience leading QA Analysts on project teams.Preferred QualificationsFinancial services industry experience.Strong SQL and ETL testing skills; knowledge of data warehouse concepts (star/snowflake schema, OLAP).Proficiency with automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, PyTest, DBT tests).Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Key Technologies: Azure DevOps, Python, AWS S3, Snowflake, Zena, DataStage.
