Beauty Supply Store Associate / Cashier
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable team member to join our beauty supply store. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with customers, operating the cash register, and helping customers find the products and information they need.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the cash register/POS system accurately
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and customer payments
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service
- Be knowledgeable about our products and assist customers with questions
- Help customers find the right hair, beauty, skincare, and styling products
- Learn product information, including different hair types, extensions, wigs, hair care, and beauty products
- Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Restock merchandise and maintain attractive product displays
- Monitor inventory and notify management when products are running low
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies
- Help manage daily store operations and complete assigned tasks without constant supervision
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all customers
Ideal Candidate:
- Customer-service oriented and friendly
- Responsible, dependable, and organized
- Comfortable using a computer/POS system and cash register
- Willing to learn about beauty products and the latest trends
- Able to multitask in a busy retail environment
- Previous retail, cashier, or beauty supply experience is a plus
- Beauty industry knowledge is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
