The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Three to five years of progressive of clinic management experience, including direct staff supervision. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer skills. Must have the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organization. Must have a working knowledge of primary care and specialty clinic operations.
- Education: Nursing degree preferred, Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related healthcare field.
- Technical skills: Possess the ability to use PC-based computer programs including MS Office. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. The incumbent must be able to plan, organize, and prioritize their work schedule effectively and independently. Strong experience and expertise with electronic medical records (EMR).
Job Summary:
This position provides leadership and oversight for daily clinic operations, business functions, technical support, and clinical support activities.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan, and coordinate day-to-day clinic operations, including supervision, coaching, and mentoring of clinic staff; monitoring the delivery of patient services; and serving as a liaison among patients, community partners, hospital staff, providers, and administration.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and organizational standards.
- Develop, maintain, and annually review Ocean Beach Health Clinic policies and procedures to support compliance with Rural Health Clinic, federal, state, and licensure requirements.
