Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Kitchen Leads to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and cooking, with a strong understanding of leadership, food safety, and preparation techniques. This role involves assisting the Head Chef in directing the preparation of high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to our restaurant's standards and menu specifications.
Duties
- Assist in directing the flow of the kitchen.
- Uphold brand/menu standards to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Be accountable for the receiving and organization of product deliveries.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is required. Preferable with experience in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver products, frequently weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Already posses or be able to attain a ServSafe certification.

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
