The Print Manager oversees all aspects of print operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.The print manager will be in control of managing schedules, coordinating with other production departments to ensure print projects are on scheduled and ready when needed for laser and lettershop departments, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.The print manager will control paper inventory and improve efficiencies by minimizing waste and maximizing the use of each sheet, this involves optimizing press setup, reducing errors, and carefully considering paper allowances for finishing processes.The manager will identify weaknesses withing the current staff, QC processes, print estimates, paper quality, vendor pool, print work order/instructions from customer service staff, inventory tracking and control, and workflows to identify areas that need improvement.Manager will create targeted and measurable workflows and procedures. In some cases, collaboration from other department managers will be required.
