Ocasa Life Sciences is seeking a driven Business Development Manager (hunter profile) to generate new business and expand our presence across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, MedTech, healthcare, and clinical trial logistics markets.This is an individual contributor, hands-on hunter role for someone who thrives on challenges and enjoys cold prospecting, opening new markets, building pipeline from scratch, managing full-cycle sales, negotiating, and closing business.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, MedTech, healthcare, and life sciences industries
- Prospect and engage pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech, CRO, clinical research, and healthcare companies
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation through contract closure
- Sell specialized logistics, transportation, cold chain, and supply chain solutions
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders
- Prepare proposals, presentations, RFQs, RFPs, pricing, and commercial agreements
- Lead client meetings, negotiations, and solution-selling discussions
- Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Quality, and Customer Service teams
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, and client information in the CRM
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and new-client acquisition targets
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Proven sales experience in clinical trial logistics, CRO environments, or life sciences logistics
- Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated success generating new business
- Experience selling cold chain or temperature-controlled logistics solutions
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech, clinical trial, CRO, or life sciences industries
- Strong prospecting, lead-generation, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to manage a full sales cycle and build long-term client relationships
- Results-driven, proactive, independent, and commercially focused
- CRM and sales pipeline management experience
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Portuguese is a plus
- Based in or near Raleigh, North Carolina
- Willingness to travel as needed
