Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant with experience in aesthetics and/or plastic surgery to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assisting the Doctors in clinic and assisting in in-office procedures. Your expertise will help elevate patient experiences and ensure smooth clinical operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cosmetic procedures including injectables and lasers, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
- Assist providers during treatments by managing supplies, maintaining sterile technique, and monitoring patient responses
- Conduct patient intake, record vital signs, and update both electronic health records (EHR systems) and inventory logs accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients on post-treatment care to promote optimal results
- Support clinical operations by managing appointment scheduling, patient flow, and medical administrative tasks
- Maintain a thorough understanding of physiology, anatomy, and relevant medical terminology to confidently assist in both clinic and minor procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to surgery, injectables, laser treatments and infection control standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Strong knowledge of dermatology, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient record management
- Ability to perform patient assessment and patient intake efficiently
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including outpatient settings
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments ; experience in aesthetics or cosmetic surgery is required
