Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Technician located in Ocala, FL. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions, manage inventory and ensure proper stocking of medication, and provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and facilitating transactions. Additional responsibilities may include managing records, labeling medications accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Experience with prescription handling and knowledge of pharmacy operations
- Certified Pharmacy Technician skills and familiarity with pharmacy standards
- Proficiency in inventory control and the ability to maintain accurate medication records
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Certification or licensure as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional related coursework is a plus
