Billing Specialist – Pulmonary Focus (AdvancedMD Experience Preferred)

We are seeking an experienced Billing/Coding Specialist with a strong background in pulmonary billing to join our high-volume, fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will bring 5 years of hospital billing experience, with a proven track record in managing complex claims and optimizing revenue cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for pulmonary services
- Ensure accurate coding and timely submission of claims
- Resolve denials and follow up on unpaid claims
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure billing compliance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hospital billing experience, preferably in pulmonary care
- Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Familiarity with AdvancedMD software is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with AdvancedMD billing platform
- Knowledge of payer-specific billing requirements for pulmonary services
