What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthopedic & Sports Chiropractor position at OC Well Studio?
We're not looking for someone to perform 50 adjustments a day.
We're looking for an exceptional clinician who loves solving difficult musculoskeletal problems, values collaboration over ego, and believes patients deserve thoughtful, individualized care.
OC Well Studio is a boutique, evidence-informed wellness practice known for combining chiropractic, dry needling, acupuncture, massage therapy, focused shockwave therapy, and rehabilitation to help active people get back to doing what they love.
We're growing and are looking for an experienced chiropractor to join our team on a part-time basis.
You have at least 5 years of clinical experience and are confident evaluating and treating a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related conditions.
You enjoy taking time to understand the whole patient rather than rushing through high-volume appointments.
You communicate exceptionally well, explain complex conditions in simple language, and build trust quickly.
You're collaborative, humble, and enjoy working alongside other healthcare providers to achieve the best outcomes.
You continue learning, stay current with evidence-informed care, and are always looking to refine your clinical skills.
Most importantly, you genuinely care about providing an outstanding patient experience.
You'll primarily care for patients with:
- Neck and back pain
- Shoulder injuries
- Hip and knee pain
- TMJ disorders
- Headaches and migraines
- Sports injuries
- Tendinopathies
- Active adults and athletes
- Pregnancy and postpartum patients (experience welcomed but not required)
While not all are required, experience in any of the following is highly desirable:
- Orthopedic rehabilitation
- Functional movement assessment
- Soft tissue therapy
- Myofascial release
- Instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques
- Cupping
- Kinesiology taping
- Exercise prescription
- Sports medicine
- Webster Technique certification
- Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) or similar movement systems
We don't measure success by the number of adjustments performed.
We value clinical reasoning, patient education, thoughtful treatment planning, and collaborative care.
You'll work alongside providers who regularly integrate chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, dry needling, and focused shockwave therapy to create comprehensive treatment plans.
