Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to pick, pack, load, and unload merchandise efficiently.
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately.
• Perform order picking and packing tasks with precision to meet specified quantities and packaging standards.
• Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to ensure accuracy and product integrity.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders against shipping documents, and ensuring proper labeling.
• Manage stock replenishment by stocking shelves systematically and maintaining organized storage areas for easy access.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by loading trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation for safe handling and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Follow safety guidelines for heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and materials handling to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve processes, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in picking & packing or order fulfillment roles.
• Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment is essential; certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners enhances efficiency in inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures ensures accurate processing of outbound and inbound shipments.
• Mechanical aptitude for operating heavy equipment safely and troubleshooting minor issues is advantageous.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and standing for extended periods is required.
