What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Driver's License Driver position at OC Recycling?
Minimum driving age is 21.
All drivers must have a minimum of 2 years of experience driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Motor vehicle drivers must have a clean driving record.
Medical cards must be valid and drivers must submit renewals on a timely basis.
Knowledge of the type of truck is required. Roll-Off trucks are unique; drivers must know all features before operating them.
Daily pre and post inspections are required and must be submitted daily.
All drivers must enter the DOT FMCSA portal.
Quarterly drug screens are required in this program. All vehicles are equipped with GPS and video recordings, and drivers are aware they are being monitored.
Our drivers are tasked with picking up material from various locations. Material picked up consists of aluminum cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, metal, cardboard, plastic film, etc.
Drivers must physically be able to go up and down the stairs on the roll-off containers, which are the bins loaded onto the roll-off truck.
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
