Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator to join our private practice team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients while also playing a key role in treatment coordination, scheduling, and insurance management. The right candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and confident in presenting treatment and discussing financial options. This is a fast-paced, team-driven environment where patient experience and efficiency are top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling and daily flow
- Verify dental insurance benefits and provide accurate estimates to patients
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements clearly and confidently
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment and maintain a strong recall system
- Answer phones and handle patient inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and up to date
- Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Handle billing, collect payments, and assist with insurance claims as needed
- Support overall front office operations and maintain an organized workspace
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental front office or treatment coordinating experience (required)
- Strong understanding of dental insurance (PPO experience preferred)
- Experience with treatment planning, case presentation, and patient financing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and a team player
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
