Housekeeping Houseperson

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our team. The Houseman will support the housekeeping department by ensuring all public and guest areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained. This role is vital to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and public spaces. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.

• Assist housekeeping staff with room preparation, including delivering supplies, linens, and amenities as needed.
• Cleans a guest room and bathroom, vacuum floor, and make beds if/when assigned.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and guest amenities. Report low inventory levels to the supervisor.
• Keep linen room and linen/terry closets stocked, clean and orderly.
• Take responsibility for all chemicals and equipment assigned. Ensure all supplies are labeled correctly and in place. Maintain all equipment in safe, clean condition.
• Respond to guest delivery requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all public spaces to include but not limited to the lobby, lobby and pool restrooms, hallways, outdoor space, and the pool deck
• Remove garbage and ensure all waste receptacles are clean and maintained
• Light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, assisting guests with in room equipment, changing batteries when needed.
• Follow appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms and appearance.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Responsible for signing in and out a Radio for interdepartmental communication.
• Responsible for signing in and out for a Master Key to access guest rooms.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or facilities role is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
