- Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis.
- Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance.
- Serves as a recreation assistant in support of recreational activities applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials, and facilities.
Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Prior DFMWR experience managing a sports, fitness, or recreation program.
- Prior experience with RecTrac software and retail sales/inventory.
