- Supervises, manages, and directs the marketing, operation and development of the installation’s Recycling Program.
- Operates a fluid, profit generating activity. Coordinates recycling functions with local community organizations, installation tenants to generate recycling opportunities for the installation.
- Develops and recommends methods, or programs to increase generated revenue. Evaluates the success of the program in terms of waste reduction, cost avoidance, customer satisfaction and revenue generation
- Develops business plan covering projected recycle programs, staffing requirements, funding levels, equipment needs and facility needs.
- Establishes and maintains a recycling education program for the installation. Serves as the installation expert and advisor on all issues related to Recycling Program.
Conditions of employment

- A one-year probationary period may be required.

- Work is mainly performed in office environment with occasional exposure to weather conditions.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement
- OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 30 August 1993.
