Project Management Specialist.

Duties

• Responsible for overseeing the complete project development and execution process.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to investigate, plan, develop scopes, and design documents of assigned projects.
• The application of various engineering disciplines including civil, mechanical, electrical, petroleum, architectural, environmental, structural, and industrial.
• Develop briefing packages, information papers, and other presentation materials to summarize and/or defend project plans, progress, accomplishments, and problem areas.
• Coordinate scope of engineering requirements such as objectives, surveys of projects and programs, cost estimates, technical engineering, and conclusions and recommendations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes participating in the repair, maintenance and/or construction of real property facilities, applying industry standards, codes and/or guidance to coordinate with stakeholders in the development of scopes, estimates, and schedules for projects; and utilizing automated systems to prepare cost estimates, and evaluate contractor proposals for projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent GS-10.
