- Performs “Hands-on” supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties.
- Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.
- Ensures staff is following established recipes and procedures. Helps control the guest flow and monitors ticket times. Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales by performing table visits.
- Maintains order and harmony. As necessary, seeks assistance from military police, to control unacceptable behavior. Keeps an operational log while on duty; opens and closes the facility and performs fire and security checks.
- Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks. Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift.
Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- A food handler’s certificate is required.
- Successful completion of either front of the House or Back of the House Franchisor specified training.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. Work requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Able and willing to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be 18 years of age at time of appointment.

- A minimum of 6 months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member.
- Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
