- Performs heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more.
- Completed work is reviewed for timeliness, work practices, and compliance with instruction.
- Incumbent is responsible for following safety practices, obtaining assistance, and performing maintenance on equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Conditions of employment

- Applicant must be able to frequently lift and carry very heavy objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds. Position requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for lengthy periods of time.
- This position is dual compensation exempt; All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position.
- Must be available to work varying and/or rotating shifts to include early mornings, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and night duty.

- Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks.

PCS Costs
- This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
