Duties
In a developmental capacity, receives training and close supervision in the performance of duties and responsibilities as set forth in the position guide for Contract Specialist, NF-4 (PD 18909). Gradually assumes more responsibility and learns to perform the full scope of the duties required of the position. Completes a prescribed agenda of formal/informal classroom and on-the-job training and self-development as set forth in the individual Training Development Plan. Non-competitive promotion of the incumbent of this position may be effected after one year of satisfactory performance to Contract Specialist, NF-04 (PD 18909, 18908, or 18907). The target position description must be classifiable to its present title, pay plan, series, and pay band level at the time the incumbent is performing the full scope of the major duties under the proper level of supervision.
