- Performs routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical bowling equipment, components and assemblies. Adjusts equipment in accordance with guidance provided by and identifies potential malfunctions to the Bowling Equipment Repairer.
- Assists the Bowling Equipment Repairer in making repairs, adjusting equipment and related duties.
- Cleans and maintains the bowling facility by replacing light bulbs; making minor repairs to vacuum cleaners, buffers, etc.; scrubbing, washing and polishing floors, walls and other surfaces; and by assisting in stocking, inventory.
- Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment and tools. Working knowledge of manufacturer's diagrams, specifications and schematics.
- Recognize and report malfunctions. Performs routine duties without directions. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. Moves large items weighing up to 100 pounds. Works in awkward positions.
Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be able to work a rotating shift to include nights, holidays, weekdays, and weekends.
- Must possess work experience or training in the use of electrical test equipment and wiring diagrams.
- Must be physically able to work for extended periods of time in cramped and awkward positions.
- Certificate of Medical Examination is required

- This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
