We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. Must have or be able to obtain a Hawaii guard card. If you dont have one we may be able to help get one. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and prevent any suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain a current CPR certification.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate potential issues effectively.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Experience

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
• Strong conflict management skills are essential for addressing challenging situations calmly and effectively.
