We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced team. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately record their needs.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, ensuring customers understand their options clearly.
• Prepare accurate auto estimates using dealership management software, including labor, parts, and additional services such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics.
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.
• Upsell appropriate maintenance packages and additional repairs to enhance vehicle performance and safety while maintaining integrity.
• Manage service write-ups efficiently, ensuring all work orders are complete with necessary details for mechanics and parts departments.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business or referrals.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive repair procedures including diesel engine repair, auto body repair, air brake systems, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, suspension components, and tire services.
• Stay updated on dealership promotions, service specials, and new automotive technologies to better serve customers.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of auto service management processes.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, oil changes, alignments, and diesel engines.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Skilled in auto estimating software and service writing to create accurate invoices promptly.
• Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining honesty and transparency with customers.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience enhances credibility when discussing repairs or diagnostics with technicians.
• Experience in auto body repair or air brake systems is a plus; familiarity with tire service, shocks & struts also highly desirable.
• Strong sales aptitude with a focus on automobile sales when applicable; cash handling experience is preferred.
