Certified Surgical Technologist (Per Diem / 1099 Contractor)

We are a growing startup staffing agency providing surgical technologist support to outpatient surgery centers and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Southern California. Our partnered facility includes vascular, cardiac, and orthopedic surgeries. We are currently servicing LA County and Orange County.

We are seeking a highly skilled surgical tech looking for flexibility, independence, and the ability to manage their own schedule. This role is a fast-paced, detail-oriented surgical environment focused on precision, efficiency, and high-quality patient care. Shifts will be posted through Connecteam as a first come, first serve basis. You will clock in and out directly through the app.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role. The surgical tech will work with a high degree of professional independence and manage their own availability. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits. Contractors are subject to credentialing review and background screening as a condition of engagement.

Job Duties

· Assist in performing sterile technique procedures across various specialties including vascular, cardiac, and orthopedic

· Assist Physician as needed

· Sets up and organizes room

· Operates equipment safely

· Provide additional assistance to ensure smooth and efficient OR flow

Minimum Requirements

· Graduate of approved surgical technologist program

· At least one (1) year within the last three years operating room scrubbing experience, including a variety of surgical procedures

· CST certification required

· BLS certification required

· Ability to adapt to different physician’s needs

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
