Description:
We are seeking native or near-native German linguists to assist with a large-scale project involving approximately 600 hours of German audio. The task requires translating and refining spoken German into grammatically correct written German while maintaining the natural flow and meaning of the original speech. The work will be divided up amongst a team of 10 annotators.
Scope:
1 to 3 months of work - Validating Transcripts (German to German)
Responsibilities:
- Listen to German audio files and accurately transcribe the content
- Translate and refine text into grammatically precise written German
- Ensure consistency in tone, terminology, and linguistic style
- Collaborate with the project manager to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in German
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and writing skills
- Experience in translation, transcription, or linguistic annotation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $17-$20/hr
