Description:

• 
  The Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) Associate Engineering Technician plays a key role in supporting the development of high‑quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects. Under general supervision, this position performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on creating and modifying site development plans using industry‑standard design tools, such as Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.

  Supports engineering teams under general supervision
• 
  Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• 
  Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
• 
  Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
• 
  Begins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians

Required:

• 
  Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation
• 
  Basic Civil 3D experience with knowledge of alignments, pipe networks, plan/profile, and sections.
• 
  Basic Civil 3D experience with proposed grading and surfaces.
• 
  Diploma or Certificate required. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
