We’re looking for someone with a strong analytics foundation (GA, GTM, GSC) who understands SEO best practices and is willing to learn and grow under guidance from our SEO & GEO Team. What You’ll DoStrategy & Client LeadershipOwn end-to-end SEO and GEO strategy for a handful of B2B clients, from research and roadmap to execution and reportingDevelop and present strategies that account for:Traditional organic searchGoogle AI Overviews & evolving SERP layoutsLLM visibility and brand representation (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)On-site content updates to improve KPIs Confidently present to senior marketing leaders and C-suite stakeholders, guiding prioritization and decision-makingAct as the primary SEO/GEO point of contact, building trust through clarity, rigor, and resultsSEO, GEO & AI ExecutionComplete keyword research, pillar and content collection strategies based on the client's goals, competitors, industry research, and how AI systems retrieve and synthesize informationDesign content strategies built for humans and machinesLead technical SEO initiatives, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, and performanceMonitor and analyze brand visibility across AI-generated answers, identifying opportunities to improve inclusion and accuracyData, Measurement & ReportingPartner with internal teams to ensure analytics, tagging, and attribution are set up correctly and evolve with strategyOwn SEO and GEO measurement frameworks using GA4, Google Search Console, Looker, and emerging AI visibility toolingBuild quarterly reports that clearly communicate:Performance and impactWhat’s working, what’s not, and whyClear next steps tied to business outcomesProactively surface opportunities, not just report on past performanceCross-Functional CollaborationTo start, you will work closely with Obility’s Strategy & Execution Director and Senior SEO Strategist to learn the Obility way and ensure adherence to our best practices and formatsWork closely with Content, Organic Social, Paid Media, Data Reporting, and Customer Success to ensure SEO and GEO are integrated into broader marketing programsThought Leadership & GrowthStay ahead of SEO, GEO, AI Overview, and LLM trends—testing, validating, and documenting learningsSupport Obility’s growth by sharing case studies, thought leadership, and internal enablement with the sales team, via content creation, and on LinkedInWhat Success Looks LikeBy Day 30: You’ll complete Obility onboarding and training, and begin assisting on client projects with guidance from your SEO & GEO mentors. By Day 60: You’ll have contributed to meaningful client initiatives, applying best practices and starting to make your own recommendations with oversight.By Day 90-120: You’ll be confidently up and running at full capacity, supporting a full book of business independently with oversight from your manager and the strategy director. Qualifications & Experience3 years of progressive SEO experience, ideally in an agency focused on B2B or enterprise clients Proven ability to build and execute long-term SEO strategies, not just audits or checklistsStrong technical SEO foundationHands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, SEOmonitor, Moz, and other emerging platforms focused on visibility and forecastingFamiliarity with GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker StudioStrong analytical skills and comfort turning data into clear recommendationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced agency environmentBonus Points Experience optimizing content and brands for AI Overviews and LLM-driven discovery, including Reddit and content creation Familiarity with content management systems, especially WordPressExperience with B2B buyer journeys and complex sales funnelsComfort experimenting with AI tools, workflows, and automation to improve efficiency and insightThis might not be the right role for you if: You struggle to stay organized or manage multiple projects (note: we use Asana, and most accounts also have a CSM to help with project management) You’re not excited by learning new skills, experimenting with tools, or trying new approachesAdapting to new processes or ways of working feels frustrating instead of an opportunityYou’re hesitant to explore AI or other tools beyond the basics, or give up when things don’t work the first timeWe’re looking for someone confident, curious, and ready to tackle challenges head-on, even if you haven’t seen it all before.IMPORTANTNo need for a long cover letter.
