The Opportunity:

As the Director of Performance Marketing, you will lead and advance OBI’s performance media function across digital and traditional channels. Reporting to the VP of Growth, this role is responsible for driving strategic excellence, ensuring high-quality execution, and developing a high-performing team that delivers measurable, insight-driven results for our clients.


This is a key leadership position within the agency, with direct influence over media strategy, team development, and performance outcomes. You will shape how performance marketing is planned, executed, measured, and optimized—ensuring every program connects media investment to meaningful business impact.

  

What You’ll Do:

  • Performance Marketing Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for performance marketing initiatives across client engagements, ensuring consistency, quality, and results. You’ll set the standard for how performance media is planned and executed across the agency.
  • Channel Strategy & Execution: Lead performance marketing strategy and execution across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and traditional media channels. Your curiosity will drive continuous testing, learning, and optimization
  • Media Planning & Budget Oversight: Oversee media planning, budget allocation, and channel mix decisions aligned to client objectives and performance goals. You’ll ensure investments are optimized for both efficiency and impact.
  • Measurement & KPI Frameworks: Establish and manage KPI frameworks that connect media performance to meaningful business outcomes. Your responsibility ensures data integrity, clarity, and accountability in reporting.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Lead conversion rate optimization efforts across landing pages, funnels, and post-click experiences in close collaboration with creative and web teams. Your tenacity ensures continuous improvement across the full customer journey.
  • Full-Funnel Strategy: Guide full-funnel marketing strategies using first-party and third-party data solutions to support audience development, lifecycle marketing, and performance growth.
  • Client Partnership: Partner closely with clients by leading performance discussions, presenting insights, and providing strategic recommendations. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, translating complex data into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Analytics & Attribution Excellence: Ensure best practices in analytics, measurement, attribution, and reporting, including the use of Google Analytics and related platforms.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop a team of performance marketers, supporting skill development, career growth, and a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Quality Control & Optimization: Maintain strong quality control through regular campaign reviews, performance assessments, and optimization plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, insights, and client services teams to ensure integrated execution across a diverse client portfolio.
  • Industry Leadership: Stay current on platform updates, media trends, and emerging technologies, applying relevant insights to elevate client programs and agency capabilities.
