Field Operations Supervisor

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of hands-on oilfield operations experience, particularly in shallow reservoirs, waterflood environments, and plugging/workover rig activity.
• Strong background in leading field crews and coordinating with contractors.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose operational issues and optimize waterflood systems.
• Working knowledge of Texas Railroad Commission regulations, plugging standards, and water-handling practices (regulatory support provided).
• Excellent communication abilities, strong organization, and reliable reporting discipline.

Field Operations & Development

• Support and coordinate with field crews; additional personnel are expected to be hired.
• Design and manage phased campaigns involving well cleanouts, remedial work, paraffin mitigation, and production recovery.
• Jointly oversee waterflood injection and production behavior, including pattern adjustments and maintaining injection balance.
• Direct produced-water logistics, including handling, injection, disposal, and identification of wells needing plug-and-abandon work.
• Work with regulatory staff to ensure all plugging activity complies with Texas Railroad Commission requirements.

Production & Facilities Management

• Lead the replacement of outdated flow lines and pump equipment; supervise repairs or upgrades to tanks, separators, and injection/production infrastructure.
• Refine and monitor chemical treatment programs addressing paraffin, scale, and corrosion.
• Track daily production performance, injection volumes, downtime, and general field efficiency (existing SCADA system and supervisors available).
• Recommend and supervise workovers or well conversions that improve overall waterflood response.
• Monitor injection costs, water quality, and field-wide pressure support.

Leadership & Oversight

• Collaborate with company crews, contractors, and service providers during day-to-day field activity.
• Uphold safety and environmental standards at all times.
• Provide management with routine operational summaries, performance metrics, and KPI reporting.

Planning & Cost Control

• Build and manage schedules, budgets, and AFEs for each redevelopment phase.
• Compare actual costs against projections, highlight savings opportunities, and report variances.
• Propose long-range plans for sustainable production performance and continuous waterflood improvement.
