Role Description
We are seeking a full-time SMT Line Operator for our on-site facility in Manchester, MI. The role involves the following:
- Programming and Operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment
- Ensuring high-quality production standards
- Loading and unloading carts
- Entering and Barcoding inventory
- Generating Cycle Counts
- Pulling inventory for production.
The SMT Line Operator will work collaboratively with team members to meet performance goals and uphold safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with Machine Operation and working with SMT or similar equipment
- Quality Control skills, including inspection and adherence to production standards
- Strong Communication and teamwork skills
- Basic Computer Literacy for operating software and recording production data
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly is highly desirable
Compensation and Benefits
Starting at $22 an hour, commiserate with experience. 401k Program with company match, Blue Cross Insurance.
