Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly tasks
- Perform welding and pipe fabrication as needed to ensure secure connections and system integrity
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and specifications
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues on-site using mechanical knowledge and basic math calculations for measurements and layouts
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with hands-on work on construction sites
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles related to plumbing installations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Strong understanding of construction processes including remodeling and assembly tasks
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Handyman experience or familiarity with remodeling projects is a plus
